Responsibilities:
The Data Scientist will lead projects focused on the modeling and simulation of smoke and obscurant materials and systems and their impact on sensor systems, both threat and friendly. Use artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve and perform data analysis and modeling efforts.
Pursue obscuration research support projects related to data analytics or for which AI/ML algorithms are appropriate
Perform modeling and simulation of obscurant materials and dissemination systems such as generators, grenades, and other munitions
Consult with other scientists on their projects related to data analytics and AI/ML applications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $125k - $165k
Schedule: 40 hrs/week
401K with up to 4% employer matching contribution

Job Requirements
10 years of experience performing modeling and simulation of threat systems/sensors and obscurant systems
Experience developing and applying data analytics and AI/ML applications
Expertise in multiple programming languages such as Python and C++ is required
Must be proficient in planning laboratory and field data collection and analysis efforts
Strong problem solving and analysis skills
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability multitask, prioritize, and complete work within schedule
Bonus points if you have:
Master's degree in Operations Research or related field
Active DoD clearance
Expertise in project management is a plus
Experience with military obscuration testing
