Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Remote/Hybrid - St. Paul, MN
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Azure Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture.
  • Develop and maintain Azure SQL, Oracle, and Databricks-based data solutions.
  • Design data models, database schemas, and data integration processes.
  • Build ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory.
  • Optimize database performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure data governance best practices.

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of Data/Database Architecture experience.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL/ELT, and data migration.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database optimization.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure CLI/PowerShell, and Azure Resource Manager.
  • Knowledge of RBAC, encryption, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:
