We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and applying probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization, data analysis, data visualization, and mathematical models to solve operational problems. They will also introduce quantitative and qualitative analysis, data analytics, and data science to military decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization, data analysis, and data visualization
  • Introduce quantitative and qualitative analysis, data analytics, and data science to military decision-making processes
  • Conduct analysis, assessments, and determine progress of Agency directives
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data
  • Create simulations and predictive models to forecast future outcomes
  • Optimize resource allocation and logistical processes
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate project feasibility
  • Prepare and present reports to communicate analytical results and recommendations
  • Use statistical software and programming languages to perform analyses
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend improvements

RequirementsMust Haves:
  • Bachelor''s degree and 8-12 years’ experience or Master’s degree and 6-10 years’ experience in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
