McCoy Group is looking for a Data Engineer to join our IT team!
If you enjoy turning complex data into solutions that help a business make better decisions, this could be a great opportunity to make an impact.
As a Data Engineer, you'll develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, data transformation processes, and enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to support reporting, dashboards, analytics, and AI-ready data.
What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines
  • Integrate data from databases, APIs, on-premises systems, and third-party platforms
  • Develop and optimize Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environments
  • Support Power BI reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives
  • Ensure data is secure, reliable, accurate, and properly governed
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize pipeline performance
  • Follow best practices for coding, documentation, version control, and deployment

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based platforms
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousing
  • Experience with SQL, Python and/or Spark, Power BI, APIs, Git/DevOps, and data integration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to travel when needed
