Job description

Job Summary:
Midmark Corporation is seeking a Data Steward to ensure the accuracy and quality of customer master data. This role will involve collaboration with IT on data governance policies, maintaining data integrity, and supporting data analysis for business users.
Responsibilities:
• Acts as a subject matter expert for customer master data
• Consults with IT to create and maintain data governance policies & procedures
• Ensures compliance and security of data by documenting data governance policies, standards, controls, and procedures, and trains accordingly
• Ensures customer’s product ownership records are maintained
• Maintains quality of data including removing duplicates
• Collaborates with product owners and functional areas to improve master data processes and requirements
• Collaborates with IT to provide requirements and help implement technology solutions for Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality
• Participates in projects related to and reliant on customer master data
• Analyzes and reports key performance indicators for customer data
• Establishes rapport with stakeholders of customer data
• Creates/maintains customer data work instructions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or business-related field
• 1 + years’ experience in a business environment
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Understanding of database structures
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate attention to detail
• Ability to apply and reinforce policies, standards, and best practices consistently
Preferred:
• Experience with integrated ERP System with customer master knowledge
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
• Experience working with MDM technologies
