Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Data Modeler/Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL
Responsibilities :
  • Expertise in big data processing, Core Java and Apache spark particularly within finance domain.
  • Should have a strong experience working with financial instruments, Credit risk, and large-scale distributed computing systems.
  • Involves developing and optimizing data pipelines for risk calculations, trade analytics and regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and optimize scalable Java Spark-based data pipelines for processing and analyzing large scale financial data.
  • Work on batch processing for credit risk analytics
  • Familiarity with credit risk concepts including stress loss (GSST, CCAR) and expected credit loss (CECL, IFRS9, ICAAP)
  • Design and implement distributed computing solutions for risk modeling, pricing and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval using Big Data
  • Implement best practices for spark performance tuning including partition, caching and memory management.

  • Maintain high code quality through testing, CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins).

Required Skills:
