Job description

What does a Senior Business Insights Analyst do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Lead the development and implementation of routine business intelligence reporting and ad hoc analysis for the total business in support of the overall profitability of the company as subject matter expert. In addition, collaborate with other teams to build and own Swire Coca-Cola's reporting layer of data.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end research and analysis of business opportunities, build financial models, and the develop business intelligence reports with little or no direction
  • Partner closely with data engineers to architect and build the reporting layer of data that supports our enterprise source of truth, structuring the data to balance an intuitive user experience with technical performance
  • Engage business units as a business intelligence consultant to lead development of enterprise analytics in direct support of various departments
  • Research and explore new (raw and unprocessed) data sources to identify growth use cases and test hypotheses.
  • Develop and maintain SmartSheet resources including annual budget trackers and funding request systems between Swire and business partners
  • Direct systems development including PowerBI and Snowflake to help create a more accountable, performance-driven culture.
  • Responsible for effectively training Business Insights Analyst I in data systems, team process, and data visualization best practices
  • Responsible for managing workflow and projects for Business Insights Analyst I & II, authority to delegate tasks
  • Make operational decisions regarding project timelines, requirements, and BI product development
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in related field required; STEM related field preferred required
  • Master's Degree MBA or related Master's Degree preferred preferred
  • 4+ years Experience using large and complex data sets to produce reporting and insights required
  • 4+ years Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools required
  • 4+ years Experience using large and complex data sets to produce reporting and insights required
  • 2+ years Experience with Snowflake or other cloud providers preferred
  • 2+ years Experience with Python, SQL, VBA, R and other languages preferred
  • 1+ years ETL or data engineering specific experience preferred
  • 1+ years Building and Managing Smartsheets required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead team workflow, manage project milestones, and train junior members.
  • Understanding of data management policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability to communicate and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated skills โ€“ organizational, problem solving, interpersonal, influence, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and lead development of solutions to un-solved problems
  • Proficiency in developing Business Intelligence processes and workflows
