Job Description

As the Manager, Consumer Data Analytics, you'll oversee a team of analysts supporting analytics initiatives across the Consumer division. While the team's primary focus is Consumer Banking, you'll also provide leadership for analytical work that supports broader business objectives and enterprise stakeholders. You'll manage workflows, balance competing priorities, and ensure analytical solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on business value. Acting as a bridge between the analytics team and leadership, you'll review analytical outputs, coordinate priorities across multiple stakeholder groups, and help drive the continued evolution of a centralized analytics function.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of analysts across a wide array of Consumer Banking initiatives.
  • Managing workflow intake, prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure work is aligned with business needs and delivered on time.
  • Reviewing reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality before final delivery.
  • Partnering with Consumer Banking leaders and other stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Coordinating priorities across multiple analytical disciplines, balancing Consumer Banking initiatives with select enterprise-wide needs.
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Data, Business Intelligence, and technology partners to enhance reporting capabilities and support strategic initiatives.
  • Applying analytical expertise and coding knowledge to review logic, identify risks, and strengthen reporting quality and reliability.
  • Removing roadblocks, driving accountability, and establishing processes that improve team efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development across the analytics team.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field and 6-8+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering analytical solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of six years direct experience with data visualization and report design (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing, coaching, and developing analysts in a high-performance environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to both perform and oversee complex data analysis.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to establish and enforce analytical standards across the team.
  • Proficiency in SQL, generative/agentic AI prompt optimization and verification, and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong project and workflow management capabilities, including prioritization, capacity planning, and execution tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior analysts, business leaders, and technical teams.
  • Experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within an analytics or reporting function.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of consumer banking products, services, and performance drivers is preferred.
