Job Description Summary
This individual is responsible for developing reporting dashboards to provide global project visibility to milestones from the beginning stages to final plant installation. Scope includes digitizing visualizations and automating manual business processes to provide transparency of project status and risks across the business

Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop and implement Tableau reporting dashboards
  • Partner with Talend developers, IT Project managers and functional teams to gather requirements
  • Conduct analysis and convert business requirements into visual based analytics
  • Conduct analysis for mapping source inputs and assist in design strategy for data modeling
  • Daily maintenance support of dashboards

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Eligibility Requirement:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

Desired Characteristics:
  • Good aesthetic skills and ability to propose visualizations based on requirements
  • Ability to quickly learn complex source systems and business concepts and convert Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to technical solutions
  • Ability to implement business logic with advanced Tableau calculations and multiple sources
  • Extensive SQL skills and knowledge in Oracle and Postgres SQL querying
  • Thorough understanding of data normalization & data modelling concepts
  • Knowledge in Tableau server administration including user level access/security, Extract refresh, scheduling etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong, demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Familiar with or have practiced Agile Development
  • Experience working with global cross-functional, cross-business teams
  • Ability to think analytically and be an excellent problem solver
