About the Job

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Analytics Engineering Consultant Manager to join their fast growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of data analytics engineers, driving data-driven decision-making processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of data analytics projects. The ideal candidate will possess both hands-on technical expertise in data analytics tools and prior experience managing a team of skilled professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of data analytics engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and project success.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and allocate resources effectively.
    • Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Data Analytics Project Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end execution of data analytics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
    • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Technical Expertise:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7 years) in RDBMS and data analytics experience along with (3+ years) directly managing data analytics professionals.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PowerBI and (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow,or Keboola) for data querying, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
