DzGovTech is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Architecture (EA) program. This position supports DLA's mission to modernize enterprise architecture by transforming complex architecture, application, business, and technology data into meaningful visualizations that enable executive decision making and digital transformation initiatives. 

The successful candidate will work with Enterprise Architects, Business Architects, Application Architects, system owners, and business stakeholders to develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visual analytics using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Qlik, and other enterprise visualization technologies. The position also supports Enterprise Architecture data integration, API development, automation, and reporting across multiple DLA repositories. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports using Microsoft Power BI
  • Develop business applications and workflow solutions using Microsoft Power Apps
  • Create reusable semantic models, datasets, and visual analytics that support Enterprise Architecture initiatives. 
  • Develop visualizations using Enterprise Architecture data to identify trends, technology gaps, relationships, and "what-if" scenarios for DLA leadership.  
  • Design and document repeatable methods for extracting, transforming, integrating, and refreshing data from Enterprise Architecture repositories and other DLA data sources. 
  • Develop automated data refresh processes using modern Microsoft technologies and APIs whenever practical.   
  • Prepare enterprise data sets for visualization by integrating information from Enterprise Architecture repositories, ServiceNow, SAP, and other DLA systems. 
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models supporting enterprise reporting. 
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Program Managers, System Integrators, and Data Owners to improve data quality and visualization capabilities.  
  • Participate in Agile planning sessions, demonstrations, and continuous process improvement activities. 
  • Prepare technical documentation, visualization standards, user guides, and knowledge transfer materials. 
  • Recommend improvements to visualization techniques, data collection methods, automation, and reporting processes.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 
  • Minimum four (4) years of professional experience developing data visualization or business intelligence solutions. 
  • Experience designing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience developing business applications using Microsoft Power Apps
  • Experience with Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX, and data modeling. 
  • Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources into visualization platforms. 
  • Experience writing SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and working with relational databases. 
  • Experience developing dashboards against ERP transactional and analytical data models. 
  • Experience with enterprise visualization platforms such as: 
    • Microsoft Power BI 
    • Qlik Sense 
    • QlikView 
    • SAP Lumira 
    • Similar Business Intelligence tools 
  • Experience developing custom visualizations using HTML, JavaScript, D3.js, or similar technologies. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Department of Defense, or other Federal agencies. 
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Architecture or Digital Transformation initiatives. 
  • Experience integrating data through REST APIs and enterprise repositories. 
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, SAP, Celonis, or Enterprise Architecture repositories. 
  • Experience creating automated data refresh and ETL processes. 
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments. 
  • Familiarity with DoDAF, BPMN, or Enterprise Architecture concepts. 
  • Experience developing executive dashboards supporting technology roadmaps, application portfolios, or business process analysis.
