Role: Solution Architect – Data Vault & AKS
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite from Day 1) - Need Locals
Duration: 6 Months + Extension
 
Note: Need Locals to NJ/NY or nearby for In-person interview
 
Role Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Data Vault modeling and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • The architect will lead enterprise data architecture initiatives, design scalable data solutions, and drive cloud‑native modernization programs.
  • This role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on architecture skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust, future‑ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement Data Vault 2.0 models for enterprise data warehouses.
  • Lead cloud‑native deployments on Microsoft Azure, leveraging AKS for container orchestration.
  • Define and optimize data integration strategies across multiple source systems.
  • Provide architectural recommendations for data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and distributed systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor engineering teams on best practices in data modeling, metadata management, and observability.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of IT experience with strong background in data architecture and solution design.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Vault modeling (Data Vault 2.0 preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, VMs, Key Vault, and App Gateway.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar).
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, and data pipeline orchestration.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, MySQL for data storage and caching.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, or Data Vault.
  • Exposure to AI/ML services and intelligent automation frameworks.
