Job description

Title: Insurance Data Modeler / Business Analyst / Data Analyst Atomic Data Vault

Location: 100% Remote Milwaukee, WI based

Duration: Long Term Contract

Work Hours: U.S. Core Business Hours

Role Summary

We are seeking an Insurance Data Modeler / Business Analyst with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance functional experience, hands-on Atomic Data Vault (ADV / Data Vault 2.0) modeling, and Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) expertise. The role will analyze insurance source systems, translate business requirements into data models, and design Hubs, Links, and Satellites for an enterprise data transformation initiative. This is not a pure Data Engineering role; strong insurance domain and data modeling experience are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Atomic Data Vault (ADV) models including Hubs, Links, and Satellites.
  • Perform Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) across insurance source systems.
  • Analyze and document Property & Casualty insurance data including policies, claims, billing, underwriting, and financial data.
  • Translate business requirements into logical and physical data models.
  • Profile source data and identify business keys, relationships, attributes, and transformation rules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams.
  • Maintain data dictionaries, lineage, mapping documents, and modeling artifacts.
  • Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data quality activities.
