About The Role

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy to lead pricing performance across Clutch's vehicle acquisition and retail channels.

This role sits within our Vehicle Markets Group and owns the strategy behind how we price vehicles across acquisition, retail, wholesale, and export channels. You'll develop the frameworks and insights that guide pricing decisions across 10,000+ weekly offers and a dataset of 250,000+ customer offers with live market valuations.

You'll translate market data, customer behavior, and inventory dynamics into pricing strategies that optimize conversion, margin, inventory turn, and capital efficiency. Working closely with Data, Operations, Finance, and leadership, you'll test pricing strategies, refine pricing models, and drive decisions across the vehicle lifecycle - from acquisition through final disposition.

This is a high-impact role with direct influence on Clutch's marketplace economics and company performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and evolution of Clutch's pricing strategy across vehicle acquisition, retail, wholesale, and export channels
  • Analyze offer pricing, conversion, and margin performance to identify opportunities to improve volume, margin, and capital efficiency
  • Evaluate bid/ask dynamics and customer response to pricing across key vehicle segments
  • Design and run A/B pricing experiments to test and improve pricing strategies
  • Refine pricing curves using current and historical market data to optimize conversion and profitability
  • Analyze sold vs. unsold inventory to understand spread, days-to-sell, and inventory velocity
  • Support inventory mix and disposition decisions by evaluating expected turn, GPU, and risk exposure
  • Translate data and market insights into clear pricing recommendations for leadership
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Operations, and Finance to build scalable reporting and ensure pricing insights drive operational decisions

What We're Looking For

  • 7-10+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, strategy, BizOps, consulting, or a related role in a data-driven or high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical foundation with experience using SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau), and advanced spreadsheet modeling
  • Proven track record of translating data into strategic recommendations that drive measurable business impact
  • Strong business judgment across pricing strategy, marketplace dynamics, unit economics, and inventory management
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Ability to operate at both the strategic and operational level in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses into clear recommendations
  • Willing to work from our downtown Toronto headquarters (60 Adelaide Street East)

Salary: 130,000$ - 180,000$

Why you'll love it at Clutch:

  • Be part of a disruptive, tech-driven company that is transforming the automotive industry, one of the largest and fastest growing B2C startups in Canada.
  • A unique opportunity to join a well funded business with product market fit, but lots of space to drive an impact and learn.
  • Freedom to innovate and ownership of your role - work on meaningful and challenging projects that have a direct impact on the business.
  • Opportunities for growth and development in a rapidly scaling company.
  • Competitive compensation and equity incentives!
  • Health & Dental benefits.
