Job Description:

The HPE Strategy & Transformation team for Hybrid Cloud is a dynamic organization responsible for working with executive leadership of Hybrid Cloud business unit in advancing the BU strategy and driving key strategic transformation projects. Additional core responsibilities of the team include managing product portfolio, driving strategic business cadence (strategic business reviews, long-term financial planning etc.), preparing updates for the executive committee/ board and driving cross-functional transformation initiatives. We partner closely with Product, Technology, GTM and Finance functions to deliver on our priorities.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation (AI PDLC), to lead the transition to Agentic AI led Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) process for our key product segments. The successful candidate in this role will lead the redesign of our operating model, workflow, processes and enable change to drive adoption and outcomes.

This role will be responsible for helping design the future state Agentic AI operating model across Product Management, Engineering and Quality Assurance functions. Role will bridge strategy and execution to drive enablement of PDLC org at scale.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to assess the current state, define future state operating model/ processes/ workflows, drive stakeholder alignment and lead change management initiatives.

The successful candidate would combine operating model expertise, enterprise transformation leadership and organizational change capabilities to help shape the future of PDLC at HPE.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the redesign of Product, Engineering and QA operating models, workflows, processes, organizational structures, governance mechanisms, roles, decision rights to enable an Agentic-AI native product development lifecycle
  • Help conduct comprehensive assessment of current state PDLC operating model including workflows, handovers, context management etc.
  • Facilitate cross-functional design workshops with Product, Solution Architecture, Engineering, QA leadership to brainstorm future state operating model choices
  • Define future state operating model choices that integrate human and Agentic AI workflows across Product Management, Engineering and QA workflows
  • Highlight trade-offs of different operating model choices, align stakeholders and redesign workflows/ handover templates/ packages
  • Define future state Human/Agentic AI responsibilities and ownership boundaries, establish decision rights and governance frameworks
  • Develop blueprints for future state process maps, role definitions and implementation roadmaps
  • Design AI CoE and capability building approaches
  • Design and Execute change management strategy, including stakeholder engagement plan and communications strategy
  • Prepare materials for senior leadership reviews and facilitate decisions

Experience and Education

  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, technology transformations or operating model redesign roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading technology or enterprise transformation projects and expertise in operating model or organizational redesign
  • Must have strong knowledge of the Product Development lifecycle (PDLC) and software engineering best practices
  • Experience with strategic and operational project management, cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

Knowledge and skills

  • Expertise in operating model redesign, organizational transformation, governance frameworks and decision rights in large enterprises
  • Experience in redesigning product management, engineering and QA operating model for AI native ways of working is preferred
  • Ability to translate emerging technology capabilities into scalable operating model, governance and organizational design choices
  • Experience in leading transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation and adoption
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting senior executives
  • Superior group facilitation, interviewing, and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in high-performance teams
