Job Title: Microsoft Viva & Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect

Location: Hanover, NH

Job Description Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Viva & Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect to define and lead the end-to-end architecture for enterprise colleague insights, employee experience, and workforce analytics solutions.
  • The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to translate colleague insight requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions leveraging Microsoft Viva, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and Azure services. The role will be responsible for defining the target-state architecture, solution design, data strategy, integration patterns, governance framework, and implementation roadmap.
  • The successful candidate will help transform fragmented and manually generated employee insights into an automated, enterprise-wide analytics platform that delivers actionable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and solution design for Microsoft Viva and workforce analytics initiatives.
  • Translate business and colleague insight requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Define the target-state architecture for employee experience, engagement, sentiment, wellbeing, productivity, and workplace analytics.
  • Design solutions leveraging Microsoft Viva Insights, Viva Glint, Viva Pulse, Viva Engage, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.
  • Assess current-state processes, data sources, reporting solutions, and analytics platforms.
  • Design data integration, ingestion, transformation, and reporting architectures.
  • Establish enterprise data models and insight delivery frameworks.
  • Define automation opportunities to streamline insight generation and reporting processes.
  • Design architectures that enable self-service analytics and actionable insights for business users.
  • Provide technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle, from discovery through implementation.
  • Define security, data privacy, compliance, governance, and access control models.
  • Collaborate with business, HR, employee experience, and technology teams to ensure alignment between business outcomes and technical solutions.
  • Produce architecture artefacts including solution designs, architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and technical standards.
  • Support implementation teams and provide design governance throughout delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or Data Architect.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Proven experience defining architecture roadmaps and target-state ecosystems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data integration patterns.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience designing cloud-native and scalable enterprise solutions.

Preferred Experience

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Viva Insights.
  • Experience with Viva Glint, Viva Pulse, Viva Engage, and broader Microsoft Viva capabilities.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI.
  • Experience integrating HR, workforce, employee engagement, and operational datasets.
  • Understanding of employee experience, people analytics, workforce productivity, and organizational effectiveness metrics.
  • Experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments.
