Hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. Onsite 4 days a week.
The Data Solutions Lead I is responsible for evaluating elevated business requests, determining the appropriate solution path, and leading enhanced analytical solutions that extend beyond standard data product delivery. This role translates business needs into structured, actionable solution approaches and determines when requests should be routed back to Data Product Developers for standard output creation.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate complex or elevated business requests and determine the appropriate solution path
  • Define business logic, KPIs, measures, and structured solution approaches for enhanced analytical solutions
  • Lead and coordinate enhanced analytical solution efforts in partnership with business stakeholders and technical resources
  • Route standard output work back to Data Product Developers when requests can be solved through established delivery patterns
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions and align stakeholders on business needs, solution options, and tradeoffs
  • Document solution approaches, requirements, logic, and decisions to support execution and continuity
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured solution approaches
  • Experience defining KPIs, measures, business logic, and analytical requirements
  • Ability to assess whether a request should be addressed through standard delivery, enhanced analytics, or a more advanced technical path
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work across business and technical teams to align solution direction and delivery
  • Understanding of reporting, dashboards, data products, automation, and advanced analytical solution patterns
  • Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgment in balancing business need, scalability, and execution practicality
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or solution efforts without formal people management authority
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree (4 years)
  • 5 to up to 7 years
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
