About CData Software, Inc.
CData is the data layer between AI and ROI-delivering the connectivity, context, and control that make enterprise AI more accurate. One platform for live access and data replication across 350+ sources, semantic intelligence that ensures context-aware responses, and built-in governance for every AI-to-data interaction. Powering AI and analytics workloads for Anthropic, Databricks, Microsoft, Google, Palantir, and more than 10,000 customers worldwide.
Behind that impact is a global team of passionate problem-solvers, engineers, and innovators who are redefining what's possible in data connectivity.
Headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, CData has over 500 team members, with offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. We take pride not just in what we build, but in how we build it: together, with curiosity, creativity, and a shared drive to push boundaries.
Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at CData, you will have the opportunity to work with our industry-leading technology with an AI-native focus. Our Solutions Engineers work consultatively with our clients and our partners to understand our customers' business and capture customer needs and requirements. You will deliver compelling and targeted Demos that demonstrate how CData can address Customer requirements and deliver the desired future state of the business. Our Solutions Engineers are problem solvers, working collaboratively across CData to resolve issues in a timely manner. You will work in close collaboration with your peers in the Solutions Engineering, Sales, Technical Support, Marketing, and Product teams. This position requires a deep understanding of CData's product portfolio and the ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.

As the first managed Model Context Protocol (MCP) platform, CData Connect AI enables AI assistants, agents, and automations to connect directly to the business systems enterprises already rely on.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer supporting Connect AI, you won't just be demoing software - you'll be helping customers solve one of the most consequential technical challenges they face today: making AI actually work with their data. Your work will directly shape how organizations across industries unlock the value of AI, and your feedback will influence the product roadmap at a pivotal moment in its growth.
Location(s): Research triangle, NC, or East coast (preferred)
Eligibility: Applicants must be US-based and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
