Overview:
Role: Data Scientist - Model Ops & Monitoring
Experience:8+
Location: San Antonio, TX

Key Skills Required:
  • Strong programming experience in Python, R, and SQL
  • Good understanding of Statistics, Probability, and Linear Algebra
  • Hands-on experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience in Model Monitoring, Model Ops, Data Analysis, and Dashboarding
  • Strong analytical and engineering mindset
  • Experience working with AI/ML Engineers and Data Scientists
  • Knowledge of SQL optimization, data quality checks, and scalable solution development

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance model monitoring capabilities for Insurance Data Science teams
  • Build prototype data assets, metrics, dashboards, and monitoring solutions
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to convert model code into maintainable production-ready solutions
  • Develop ground truth datasets and optimize SQL queries
  • Perform quality checks, testing, and monitoring activities
  • Implement scalable solutions using Python
  • Interpret monitoring dashboards and communicate performance breaches
  • Support Quarto-based documentation and Model Ops activities
