The below represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a focus on developing and deploying machine learning models.
  • MS or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Operations Research, etc.) with hands-on experience leveraging sophisticated analytical and machine learning techniques.
  • Expertise in an analytical language (Python preferred), and experience with databases (Google BigQuery or equivalent) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into mathematical programming problems, leverage external thinking and tools (from academia and/or other industries) to engineer a solution and deliver business insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Independent thinker who is organized, has great attention to detail, and can effectively handle complexity.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to integrate with cross-functional business partners.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with sophisticated, unstructured initiatives.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of card and lending economics
  • Proficiency in dealing with large quantities of complex data and ability to derive actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, bridging the gap between academic outputs and real-world applications
  • Ability to research and apply new/unfamiliar data science methods
  • Experience with Generative AI (APIs, MCP, agents)
  • Experience using Git and GitHub

  • Ensure that all regulatory needs are met by way of close collaboration with 2nd Line (MRMG) and 3rd Line (IAG) requirements, in addition to continued compliance with AEMP55
