Job description

American Express Company seeks Managers, Data Science to develop predictive modeling for businesses, incorporating customer behaviors and data granularity.  

Position requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with applying statistical and econometric modeling techniques to solve business problems in the financial industry. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: quantitative, mathematical, and statistical concepts and data processing techniques, including survival analysis, linear and logistic regression, time series analysis, panel data, decision tree analysis, and multivariate distribution theory; researching and presenting complex statistical concepts to non-technical audiences; application of advanced predictive analytics using large volumes of customer and merchant data; data visualization tools, including Tableau; database queries, including SQL, Teradata, and HiveQL; and machine learning techniques, Python, R, and SAS. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
