Job description

Our client, a leading global pharma company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (AD) to lead the development of advanced analytics and AI solutions that drive strategic decisions across Marketing, Sales, Medical, and Market Access. This role focuses on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), resource allocation, and machine learning–based personalization to improve commercial performance and investment efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead development and deployment of Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to quantify channel level promotional impact
  • Measure ROI across field force, digital, media, speaker programs, and patient initiatives
  • Build resource allocation and optimization frameworks to guide commercial investment decisions
  • Support annual brand planning, scenario modeling, and in year budget reallocation
  • Drive the long term data science and AI vision for commercial analytics
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Insights, Marketing, and Access teams
  • Translate brand objectives into scalable analytical solutions and machine learning pipelines
  • Guide stakeholders through insight activation and integration into workflows
  • Provide technical leadership on analytical tools, model governance, and responsible experimentation
  • Collaborate with and mentor a high performing team of data scientists
  • Manage external analytics partners to ensure alignment and delivery


Requirements:

  • 7+ years in analytics or data science, including 4+ years leading data science products, teams, or programs
  • Experience in pharma or biotech, specifically with Marketing Mix Modeling and commercial optimization
  • Strong command of statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, A/B testing, and time series forecasting
  • Experience deploying data science solutions in a commercial environment
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Snowflake; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Proven experience with omnichannel analytics, marketing optimization, and machine learning pipelines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills


Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Experience building proprietary data products or commercial decision engines
