Job description

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.

Xometry is looking for a senior product leader to own the strategy and execution for our ML & data science products and evolve the services that make up the backbone of Xometry's business. The successful candidate will set the vision for this domain, build and lead a high-performing team, and work fluently with technical subject matter experts and executive stakeholders alike — translating complex quantitative capabilities into clear business outcomes.

We have a lot of ideas on how we can improve these systems. We need a leader who can connect these ideas to business metrics, build a multi-year roadmap with input from cross-functional and executive stakeholders, drive efficient execution across teams, and provide proactive, confident communication on vision, direction, and status at every level of the organization — including to senior leadership and the board. How You’ll Contribute:
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Xometry's ML & Data Science capabilities, setting the multi-year vision for this critical part of the business
  • Serve as a senior leader on the product management team, building and mentoring a team of product managers and/or influencing a broader cross-functional org
  • Build and manage relationships with executive and senior stakeholders; set and defend priorities aligned to company-wide business goals; present roadmaps and gain buy-in at the leadership and board level
  • Champion outcome-oriented, KPI-driven product management across the org: define product metrics tied directly to business goals, and report on outcomes to executive leadership
  • Incorporate customer feedback and product analytics into a continuous cycle of iteration and improvement
  • Lead complex, cross-functional, and cross-team initiatives, ensuring execution stays tightly aligned to product strategy and business results
  • Represent the ML & Data Science product function externally and internally as a subject-matter authority
What You'll Bring to Xometry:
  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management, including experience leading product strategy at a senior/director level and managing multiple competing priorities across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of leading or mentoring product managers, or otherwise operating as a senior individual leader with broad organizational influence
  • Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated success presenting to senior leadership and/or boards
  • Strong analytical, quant-oriented mindset, fluency with data, and experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success at scale
  • Strong understanding of price sensitivity, customer segmentation, and related pricing/marketplace concepts
  • Deep experience building multi-year product roadmaps, managing product portfolios, and partnering closely with engineering leadership on technical products and platforms
  • Comfort with ambiguity and driving clarity in a fast-paced, fast-scaling environment with shifting priorities
  • Experience with platform-level A/B testing (beyond UI-level experimentation)
  • Mission-driven, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $220,000-250,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including 401(k) match, medical, dental and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; generous paid time off including vacation, sick leave, floating and fixed holidays, maternity and bonding leave; EAP, other wellbeing resources; and much more.
