Strider Technologies

Job description

Job Summary:
Strider Technologies delivers strategic intelligence to help organizations make confident decisions in a complex global environment. They are seeking a Data Science Manager to lead NORAM Market Delivery, focusing on building solutions that generate direct ARR and enhance product offerings through data science and AI methods.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Own the NORAM commercial delivery motion. Partner closely with Growth and CS to identify where custom work creates outsized commercial value โ€” contract expansions, Gov engagements, strategic new logos โ€” and execute it. This team is accountable to measurable ARR contribution, not just activity.
โ€ข Build working solutions on top of Strider's data infrastructure. Apply data science and AI methods to extend Strider's products for client-specific use cases. That includes entity resolution, risk scoring models, knowledge graph enrichment, and AI-augmented workflows. You are building on the platform, not around it.
โ€ข Support pre-sale POCs and custom technical engagements. Bring the technical depth clients need to trust that Strider can solve their specific problem. You are the person in the room who can go from a client brief to a working prototype to a commercial outcome.
โ€ข Feed signal back to the product team. What you learn in client conversations, deployments, and custom engagements is only valuable if it reaches the PMs in a form they can act on. Translating market signal into actionable product requirements is a core part of the job.
โ€ข Own government delivery alongside the Gov team. Work as an integrated execution partner on government engagements โ€” not independently. Understand the platform deeply enough to build solutions that are reusable across Gov opportunities rather than one-off.
โ€ข Partner cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Growth, and CS. This role sits at the seam of multiple functions. The ability to operate credibly in a client conversation, a technical architecture discussion, and a roadmap review in the same week is the job.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years of hands-on data science or applied AI experience, including production-grade model development and deployment.
โ€ข Demonstrated success applying data science methods to commercial problems โ€” entity resolution, risk modeling, knowledge graphs, or similar domains.
โ€ข Deep expertise in Python. Familiarity with search infrastructure (Elasticsearch), graph-based methods, or distributed data frameworks (Spark, Ray) is a strong plus.
โ€ข The ability to move between technical work and client-facing conversations without losing credibility in either. You can explain what you built, why you built it that way, and what it means for the client's problem.
โ€ข Commercial fluency. You understand what makes a client engagement strategic versus transactional, and you bring that judgment to decisions about what work to take on.
โ€ข Proven ability to take an ambiguous brief, define the technical problem, and deliver something that works and that people actually use.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience working alongside or directly supporting government clients is strongly preferred.
โ€ข Background in intelligence, national security, supply chain risk, or a related domain is a significant plus.
Company:
Strider is a strategic intelligence firm that utilizes artificial intelligence to convert publicly available data into actionable insights. Founded in 2019, the company is headquartered in Salt Lake City, USA, with a team of 201-500 employees. The company is currently Growth Stage.
