JOB SUMMARY
Come help us build the world's best omni-channel software! Deposco is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science team, focused on R&D innovation. You will use your analytical expertise to create innovative solutions to supply chain and commerce execution, planning, and strategy problems. Working alongside our team of product managers and software developers, you will help design and deploy these solutions to the Deposco platform - affecting real value in our customers' businesses. The right candidate will have a strong background in data science methods, an enthusiasm for problem-solving, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design and implement AI solutions to solve complex supply chain and commerce problems.
  • Develop AI-powered features that enhance prediction, optimization, and automation within our platform.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI models into the Deposco platform.
  • Work with product owners to design innovative features leveraging AI capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • M.S. (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Expert-level programming skills in Python (experience with AI frameworks and agent architectures a plus).
  • Strong understanding of AI agent architectures, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted automation.
  • Experience with generative AI systems and large language models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency with SQL and database concepts for data preparation.
  • Solid background in data science fundamentals and machine learning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
