Job description

West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation is hiring a part time intern position for the West Kentucky RECC Engineering Department. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day engineering department activities regarding the cooperative member programs and key account related projects and functions, specifically medium and large commercial and industrial consumers. This position may also be required to assist in the day-to-day engineering activities related to department administration, power systems, and information systems. Ideally, the successful intern candidate would be a sophomore or junior currently enrolled in the Engineering Physics program at Murray State. Completed engineering course work in computer programming, power systems, and 3D modeling with a GPA of 2.5/4.0 is preferred. The West Kentucky RECC intern position is an excellent opportunity to serve the community while engaging the dynamic and evolving electric utility industry.
