The Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Department is a dynamic and growing department with a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.
The department offers and Bachelor of Science in Population Health Management and Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership. Additionally, the department offers minors in Arts, Literature and Philosophy and Medical Sociology; certificates in Ethics, Cultural Competency, and Social Determinants of Health; and a diverse collection of courses in support of Oregon Tech's general education mission.

Position Summary
Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Adjunct Instructors in ourMaster of Healthcare Leadership Program. Qualified instructors have the opportunity to teach graduate-level courses in healthcare leadership, leadership theory, interdisciplinary healthcare leadership, healthcare ethics, and health policy. We welcome energetic, creative individuals with a desire to enhance and develop innovative courses that integrate the most current challenges and strategies for successful leadership in this era. This can include a wide variety of teaching methods and course materials beyond a typical textbook, such as videos, podcasts, social media, expert interviews, and connections to professional associations. Our program culture prioritizes student wellbeing, with professors serving as mentors, and opportunities for real world projects and reflections.
Teaching Modality: All courses are online and asynchronous.
Location: Appointments are all remote positions affiliated with Oregon Tech's online campus

Minimum Requirements
Additional Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Healthcare Leadership, Public Health, Public Administration, Business, or other related fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare or related setting that includes leadership roles.
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or other employment-based immigration support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
• Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
