Kroger is looking for current college students who are interested in gaining on the job training, mentorship, and real-world experience in their field of choice. 

The Kroger Fall Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Fall 2026 Dates: August 17 - December 4.

Our program offers competitive pay, hands-on learning experiences, company exposure to senior leaders, and professional development opportunities. Spend your semester driving projects, refining your professional skills, working along industry leaders, and connecting with other students from across the country. 

Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger. (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa, or any other non-immigrant status).

Minimum

  • Open to all majors, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.2
  • Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work

  • Sophomore standing or higher at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's/graduate degree in Marketing, Economics, Operations Management, Finance, Analytics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or other CPG/Retail related majors

Spend your semester with the Sourcing and Cost Management department working with a team to gain an understanding of the department's initiatives. Projects could include, but are not limited to, working cross-functionally with a Category Manager and Suppliers to provide insights through data analytics, communicate directly with suppliers, and actively participate in category strategic negotiations. Responsible for positively impacting Kroger's business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects.   • Complete a project that includes running analysis on historical and current data and working with an internal counterpart to ultimately improve the forward-looking profitability of Kroger
  • Complete projects in a timely manner with the assistance of an Analyst and Senior Analyst mentor
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties taking into account a holistic scope of the project and return actionable results from data analysis
  • Complete analysis and presentations in accordance with established timelines
  • Participate in strategic discussions and lead meetings as necessary
  • Present cumulative project to the Enterprise Sourcing leadership team
