Job description

Job Summary
The Senior Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytical and machine learning expertise to extract insights from complex datasets and develop innovative, data-driven solutions. The role requires strong experience with generative AI, large language models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI, unstructured data, and customer-facing products. The Data Scientist will work closely with Machine Learning Engineers throughout the production lifecycle and provide technical mentorship and subject matter expertise to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
• Apply machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests, to solve complex data science problems.
• Design, implement, evaluate, validate, and proof MCP and RAG-based solutions.
• Develop and evaluate agentic and generative AI solutions using large language models.
• Work with unstructured data and apply appropriate data science and machine learning techniques.
• Work directly with large language models and Transformer-based architectures, including BERT, RoBERTa, and T5.
• Apply LLM technologies such as ChatGPT, GPT-3.5, Claude, and Mistral to develop innovative solutions.
• Contribute to customer-facing product development and work closely with Machine Learning Engineers throughout the production lifecycle.
• Mentor and train colleagues and serve as a subject matter expert in data science and AI technologies.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of total professional experience.
• 5+ years of recent Data Science experience.
• 5+ years of recent experience with MCP, RAG implementations, evaluations, validations, proofing, agentic AI, generative AI, and unstructured data.
• Experience building data science solutions for customer-facing products.
• Experience working with Machine Learning Engineers throughout the production lifecycle.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Strong experience with machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, gradient boosting, and random forests.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and Transformer-based architectures, including BERT, RoBERTa, and T5.
• Experience applying LLMs such as ChatGPT, GPT-3.5, Claude, and Mistral.
• Strong programming and software development skills using Python or another programming language.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, and guide colleagues as a subject matter expert.
