Role Title: Data Scientist


Role Type: Contractor


Location: Remote


About the Role micro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire data scientists and quantitative professionals from top companies. You'll bring rigor to how AI models handle statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning.


Scope of Work

  1. Evaluate AI model outputs on data science, statistics, ML, and quantitative problems
  2. Create expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions
  3. Identify flawed methodology, statistical errors, and weak quantitative reasoning
  4. Provide structured feedback that improves model capability


Preferred Qualifications

  1. At least one year of experience working at a top company (tech, finance, or research), with at least part of this experience within the past 7 years
  2. Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university
