Analytical Chemistry Associate | HPLC, GC-MS & Quality Laboratory

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a leading global consumer healthcare company recognized for developing trusted health and wellness products that improve the lives of millions of consumers worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative analytical laboratory team supporting product quality, analytical investigations, and continuous improvement within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

PayUp to $34.90/hour

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Contract Duration

Contract through June 2027, with strong potential for extension based on business needs and performance.


Position Summary

We are seeking an Analytical Chemistry Associate to support laboratory operations through analytical testing, impurity analysis, chemistry investigations, and quality initiatives. Working alongside experienced scientists, you'll utilize advanced analytical instrumentation to evaluate products, investigate chemical impurities, and help ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of consumer healthcare products.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on analytical chemistry, solving technical problems, and working in a collaborative, science-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical testing using advanced instrumentation, including:

    • U/HPLC-MS

    • HPLC-PDA

    • Fluorescence Detection (FLR)

    • GC-MS

    • GC-FID

  • Conduct trace impurity and analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

  • Support laboratory experiments under the direction of senior scientists.

  • Assist with investigations involving product degradation and impurity identification.

  • Contribute to chemistry-related troubleshooting and root cause investigations.

  • Prepare and update laboratory procedures, technical documents, and SOPs.

  • Accurately document laboratory activities following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Communicate project updates and analytical findings to scientists and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Participate in technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with laboratory equipment validation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain compliance with laboratory quality systems, GxP requirements, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards.


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous laboratory experience in an analytical, chemistry, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer healthcare, food, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, reliable data.

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to follow laboratory procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:

  • HPLC

  • UHPLC

  • GC

  • GC-MS

  • Mass Spectrometry

  • Chromatography

  • Trace impurity analysis

  • Analytical chemistry

  • Pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare manufacturing

Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.90 per hour
