The Memory and Aging Lab is hiring a Social Science/Humanities Research Associate I to manage subject recruitment, subject testing, data analysis and organization, and general lab management tasks. The position offers opportunities for co-authorship of manuscripts and conference presentations, participation in research talks, and auditing of courses.

This is a one-year fixed-term position.

Purpose

Manage subject recruitment, subject testing, data analysis and organization, and general lab management tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Subject recruitment, community outreach, screening.

  • Subject Testing.

  • General lab management.

  • Data organization and analysis.

Required Qualifications
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent in psychology, neuroscience, engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • Strong organization skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong computer skills.

  • Experience working with human subjects, and an interest in human subjects' research.

  • Ability to engage with community members across various demographics during outreach events.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish

  • Prior experience managing projects or people

  • Some programming experience in Python, R Studio, and/or Matlab

  • Experience collecting or analyzing EEG and/or MRI data

Salary Range

$40,000 - $43,000
