Job Description acuCyber is hiring for a Data Scientist to support a classified program by transforming complex, high-volume, and mission-relevant data into actionable insights that improve operational planning, system performance, and government decision-making. The Data Scientist works with mission analysts, systems engineers, software developers, cybersecurity personnel, and program stakeholders to identify analytical requirements and develop data-driven solutions throughout the program lifecycle. This position is responsible for acquiring and preparing data, conducting exploratory and statistical analysis, developing and validating predictive models, and communicating findings through clear visualizations, technical reports, and decision-support products. The Data Scientist applies statistical, machine-learning, and data-mining techniques while ensuring that classified and sensitive data is handled in accordance with applicable security requirements, program policies, and approved system configurations.
