Michaels Stores is a leading destination for creativity and celebration, operating over 1,300 stores across North America. They are seeking a Merchandising Data Analyst to transform raw retail data into actionable inventory strategies, analyze sales trends, and optimize stock levels to ensure product availability.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting Ownership: Responsible for data discovery and turning raw data into logical information for recurring and ad-hoc merchandising reports.
• KPI Tracking: Maintain dashboards that track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Sell-Through Rate, GMROI, and Stock-to-Sales ratios.
• Dashboard Support: Assist with the design and development of interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support daily business decisions.
• Trend Analysis: Identify emerging consumer patterns and "bestsellers" to influence future buying decisions and markdown strategies.
