Job Summary:

As an OptimusAI Senior Data Science Analyst, you will work with leading companies in the Energy and Materials sector to enhance their productivity using AI, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative products and algorithms.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborating in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of 3-6 experts, you will use your creativity and analytics expertise to enhance client performance in areas such as energy efficiency, product quality, and capacity.
• You will be working side-by-side with the client’s process engineers and analytics specialists and will be communicating your work to executive audiences.
• Internally, you will collaborate with our talented product engineers to develop innovative products and algorithms to address current and future client needs.
• You will help codify best practices, radiate our impact in/externally and shape the product roadmap.
• You will benefit from world-class training in business problem structuring and client advisory, while working closely with senior manufacturing and analytics experts.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Ability to write clean and efficient code in Python; ideally with experience in using cloud computing resources (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ability to apply and advise on state-of-the-art analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques to derive business insights and solve complex problems
• Excellent problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions
• Ability to thrive in a flexible, multi-disciplinary and agile working environment
• Track record of completing projects successfully on time as per scope
• Willingness to travel to other offices and/or client locations for short/long term assignments
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; experience in facilitating discussions with leadership
