Warehouse Associate

Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Shakopee, MN.

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Onsite - Shakopee, MN 55379

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Pay rate: $21-$22/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise.
  • Verify received products against receiving documentation.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
  • Accurately pick customer orders and place products into totes for shipment.
  • Pack and prepare customer orders for outbound shipping.
  • Stock and replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Rotate inventory to ensure proper product usage and inventory accuracy.
  • Process customer returns, perform data entry, and restock returned merchandise.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control activities.
  • Perform outbound shipping tasks using warehouse systems.
  • Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/PkMS) to complete daily assignments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DEA regulations.
  • Work overtime as required to meet operational demands.

Requirements:

  • RF scanner experience is required.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand English product labels, descriptions, and work instructions.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
