Description:   PURPOSE:
 The role will focus on executing high-impact research initiatives and delivering insights that inform decision-making, create better guest experiences, and drive innovation. The contractor is expected to quickly integrate into ongoing workstreams.
You will support a Commercial Analytics team that is highly collaborative and passionate about our portfolio of brands and loyalty program. You will also work collaboratively with cross-functional partners such as Brands, Marketing, World of Hyatt, Sales, Digital and Operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ability to onboard quickly (within 2-4 weeks) and take ownership of active research workstreams alongside an additional Consumer & Market Insights team member.
• Translate business questions into clear research plans and methodologies
•       Manage priority initiatives related to:
          o    Global brand health tracking
          o    Guest experience analysis (post-stay survey)
          o    World of Hyatt loyalty program and member insights
          o    Macro trends and forecasting
          o     Ad-hoc research to inform direction for specific business initiatives
•       Synthesize multiple data sources (custom/primary research, syndicated, behavioral/transactional data) into cohesive narratives.
•       Represent the voice of our consumers, guests and members to enable data-driven decision making across the business.
•       Develop executive-ready presentations and readouts.
•       Work consultatively and collaboratively with key business partners (e.g., Brands, Marketing, World of Hyatt, and Operations).
•       Manage external research suppliers (briefing/direction, timelines, deliverables, quality control).
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•       3+ years of hands-on custom consumer research and insights experience, preferably on the supplier side or a combination of supplier-side and client-side experience.
•       Proven ability to balance multiple stakeholders and priorities
•       Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (visual storytelling) and Excel (data analysis)
•       Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI tools is preferred.
•       Proficient in planning and project management
•       Strong work ethic; self-directed and self-motivated with a developed curiosity and drive for results
•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to articulate strategic implications with clarity and persuasiveness in an audience-appropriate manner
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
