Summary
We are looking for a Financial Reporting Data Analyst with a strong passion for data analytics and experience leveraging tools and technologies such as Power BI, Power Query, Adaptive Planning, and SQL to transform complex data into actionable insights, enhance reporting, and support data-driven decision-making. This role will play a key part in advancing our reporting and analytics capabilities through the development of scalable dashboards, automation of manual processes, and delivery of meaningful financial and operational insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with technical expertise and a continuous improvement mindset, using data to drive efficiency, improve visibility into business performance, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Do
  • Help design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights to business and finance stakeholders.
  • Automate recurring financial reporting processes and data workflows, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy and timeliness
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement process improvements across financial planning and management reporting activities.
  • Document reporting processes, data sources, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
  • Evaluate emerging analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enhance finance processes and reporting capabilities.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 2 - 4 years. Experience leveraging tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Adaptive Planning, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar capacity within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus.

Pay Transparency: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range: $58,000- $97,700
