Job description

This position works closely with a team of regulatory data specialists, business analyst, and business intelligence advisor, with a particular focus on the department's regulatory evaluation and reporting processes and products to support regulatory modernization. The resource needs to hold extensive experience with data collection, data analysis, data management, and the production of dashboards that reflect business needs and outcomes. The role involves data verification, data testing and analysis, identifying/supporting evaluative processes, providing technical recommendations, building effective reporting tools to present regulatory data and information, and providing advice on internal and external user perspectives and requirements.
The position requires building strong relationships and working collaboratively across department branches to ensure regulatory evaluation and reporting is data-driven and contextualized. The individual is experienced with data management systems and working with data from various sources. The individual will have the ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to business users and leads.
Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:
Build automated and interactive monitoring and reporting products such as dashboards and trackers; integrate analytics as needed.
Design and develop complex dashboards, scorecards, and visual analytics using Power BI, Power Automate, and other platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain data models and visualizations using Power BI and Azure-based data platforms.
Integrate AI capabilities (e.g. Python) to augment analytical processes by automating data exploration, identifying trends and anomalies and generating insights.
Collaborate with business analysts, data specialists, data intelligence advisors, and regulatory subject matter expert staff and leadership to develop data products.
Coordinate the development of data products that align with business needs and outcomes.
Lead product validation through robust QA/QC.
Assist with collection, consolidation, and synthesis of data from multiple sources towards meaningful datasets.
Provide cross-training or on-the-job training to staff who own the end products and will manage implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Provide end-user training and support to ensure adoption of BI tools
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and similar user-guides as needed.
