  • Provide enhanced QA/QC support for mission-critical and data center projects, including electrical distribution, mechanical systems, equipment installation, controls, piping, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Develop, implement, communicate, and continuously improve project-specific QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, checklists, and documentation requirements.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, approved submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, BIM coordination documents, and other project documentation to verify field installations reflect current approved requirements.
  • Conduct pre-installation meetings and quality planning activities with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors for critical scopes of work.
  • Verify materials, equipment, and components delivered to the project meet approved submittals, specifications, and project requirements prior to installation.
  • Coordinate, witness, and document required inspections and testing activities performed by third-party testing agencies, manufacturers, subcontractors, commissioning teams, or other project stakeholders.
  • Verify required testing, inspection, and quality documentation is completed accurately and retained in accordance with project and company requirements.
  • Identify defective, incomplete, or non-conforming work and initiate appropriate documentation, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, punch-list items, and corrective action documentation.
  • Track deficiencies and corrective actions through completion and verify repairs or rework meet applicable project requirements prior to closure.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and other project personnel to resolve quality concerns while minimizing impacts to schedule and productivity.
  • Monitor recurring quality issues, identify trends and root causes, and assist project leadership in implementing preventive and corrective measures.
  • Maintain organized and accurate QA/QC records, including inspection reports, test reports, material documentation, checklists, NCRs, corrective actions, photographs, turnover packages, and other required quality records.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings, quality meetings, client meetings, and commissioning meetings as required.
  • Support installation verification and documentation associated with startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mission-critical systems and equipment.
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure systems are complete, properly documented, and ready for functional testing and turnover.
  • Assist with development and completion of punch lists and ensure identified deficiencies are corrected and properly documented.
  • Support project closeout activities, including collection and review of as-built drawings, testing records, inspection documentation, equipment documentation, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, and final quality records.
  • Assist with internal quality audits and client or third-party quality audits as required.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, project specifications, ASTM standards, manufacturer requirements, and other applicable quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement throughout field and project operations.
  • Communicate quality expectations clearly to employees, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, commissioning agents, engineers, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
