Job Summary:
This role is responsible for optimizing the critical assignment process within a complex Product Lifecycle Management system, directly impacting early supply chain assessments and cost identification. You will refine the logic for assigning commodity managers to change orders, contributing to smoother processing and improved system performance. The position also involves developing data for future automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commodity manager assignment within PLM for change orders.
  • Route affected items to appropriate commodity managers for impact assessment.
  • Analyze and enhance the assignment algorithm for improved efficiency.
  • Compile data sets to train future automated assignment tools.
  • Monitor and report on strategic sourcing team performance.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Hands-on PLM system experience.
  • Understanding of engineering change management.
  • Experience with data analysis and process improvement.
Industry Experience:
