About the Role


The Project Manager position is a dynamic, client-facing role within Veryon's Professional Services Department that offers excellent growth opportunities in a fast-paced technology environment. This role offers significant exposure to various aspects of the business, from technical implementation to customer relationship management.


This role provides a clear path for advancement within the Professional Services organization. You'll receive mentorship from senior team members while developing the skills needed to eventually lead larger, more complex projects independently. Key Responsibilities


Project Execution & Management

  • Manage 2–4 concurrent implementations for Veryon’s Tracking, Tracking+, and Diagnostics solutions.
  • Drive project lifecycles from kickoff to completion, ensuring deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Deliver regular project updates to both internal and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.

Stakeholder & Client Relations

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact, leading kickoff and status meetings with customer stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage expectations by addressing client concerns professionally and in a timely manner.

Documentation & Data Integrity

  • Own project documentation, including detailed plans, requirements, scope changes, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain PM tools and systems to ensure accurate data for contract reviews and project scoping.

Process & Quality Control

  • Mitigate risk by identifying potential issues early and escalating them to senior leadership when necessary.
  • Uphold methodology standards by following company best practices and participating in project/QA reviews.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to sharpen the PM team's efficiency.

Resource Coordination & Team Growth

  • Synchronize internal resources, collaborating with Business Consultants and technical teams to hit milestones.
  • Support team development through knowledge sharing, onboarding new members, and participating in strategic planning sessions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on project management experience
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a professional services or technology implementation environment
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing or customer success roles• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid approaches)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to various stakeholder levels
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues appropriately
  • Customer service orientation with professional demeanor in all interactions
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or project activities (up to 15%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification/ Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or planning to pursue PM certifications
  • Background in software implementation or technology consulting
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions or SaaS implementations
