Overview
Position Summary
The Data Governance Project Manager will successfully apply their years of experience in Project Management to the BI team on any of our myriads of enterprise clients within the health and wellness industry. Paramount to this success will be the ability to utilize Jira and Project Processes at your disposal to integrate our BI teams into the same platform and process.
Key Responsibilities
While every engagement is unique, typical engagements require execution against the following tasks and deliverables:
  • Collaborating with the team to define scope and definition of done
  • Supporting Agile transformations through workshops and training sessions
  • Holding teams accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Monitoring and tracking the progress of project tasks and deliverables.
  • Utilizing Agile tools (Jira) to track and manage project progress.
  • Training and mentoring team members on Agile methodology
  • Ensuring compliance with Agile processes and best practices
  • Collaborating with project teams to determine project goals and objectives
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
  • Helping the team maintain project documentation.
  • Assisting with backlog maintenance and sprint planning
  • Identifying and managing project risks and issues
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
  • Ensuring all team members have necessary tools and resources to complete tasks.
  • Supporting communication between team members and stakeholders
  • Monitoring project progress and providing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitating discussions to improve collaboration across teams
  • Using Jira to provide Portfolio level reporting and knowledge of Jira dashboards
  • Ability to use Jira Query Language to build filters and dashboards for department reporting.
  • Having experience with Smartsheet's is a plus.

Requirements
  • Depth of understanding of Project management processes and Jira

  • Participate in the recruitment of new additions to the BI Team and management of both the career development and daily workflow of junior team members/resources.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably a BS in a related field) is required.
  • Having a Scrum/Agile Certification

Compensation Range: USD $88,540.00 - USD $127,155.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
