Job Summary

:The Senior Privacy Advisor is a senior position that manages and advises on Privacy Act, data protection and privacy compliance activities. This role works directly with senior stakeholders to coordinate requirements and operations across Privacy Act reporting, oversight agency coordination, policy, and training. The Senior Privacy Advisor will act as a Privacy Act SME and have substantial experience in Systems of Records Notices (SORN), Computer Matching Agreements (CMA), Privacy Act complaints, access requests, notices, and related compliance activities

    The Senior Privacy Advisor will also act as a mentor and educator for the team, client and the workforce on the requirements for Privacy Act data compliance activities. Specifically, the Senior Privacy Advisorโ€™s responsibilities will includ
  • e:Leading the preparation and review of SORN materials including narrative statements, notices for the Federal Register, routine uses, and communications to oversight bodie
  • s.Evaluating uses of personally identifiable information and determining permissible routine uses and disclosure
  • s.Leading the preparation and review of CMA materials including narrative statements, notices for the Federal Register, routine uses, and communications to oversight bodie
  • s.Leading the membership and activities of the Data Integrity Board. Providing guidance to members on proposed matching activities and navigating proposed CMAs to approva
  • l.Advise on information collection, notices of data use, and procedures for processing Privacy Act complaint
  • s.Coordinating across multiple stakeholders to approve and enforce data protection and compliance measures and monitor the success of progress and milestone
