Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cross-channel customer journeys. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and AJO, strong marketing technology knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, data-driven engagement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Design, build, and optimize real-time and batch customer journeys across email, push, SMS, and other channels.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, analytics, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver personalized experiences.
  • Develop audience segmentation, event triggers, and decisioning strategies using AEP data.
  • Integrate AJO with external systems, APIs, and data sources.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across customer engagement workflows.
  • Perform testing, validation, and performance tuning of campaigns and journeys.
  • Provide technical leadership, best practices, and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Support releases, deployments, and ongoing production enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Hands-on expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  • Strong understanding of real-time customer profiles, segmentation, and orchestration.
  • Experience with APIs, data ingestion, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of campaign management, personalization, and marketing automation.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other Adobe tools (Campaign, Target, Analytics).
