Job description


We're searching for a Senior Data Operations Engineer, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide advanced leadership in the design, development, governance, and optimization of operational data and analytics solutions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Leads the design, build, and ongoing optimization of complex data marts, dashboards, and reporting solutions that support operational, clinical, quality, and strategic decision-making
• Ensures analytics solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with enterprise data architecture and reporting standards
• Acts as a primary senior point of contact between operational/clinical leaders and IS for data, reporting, and analytics initiatives
• Establishes and leads data quality strategies, validation processes, and monitoring frameworks for assigned operational domains
• Ensures data integrity, continuity, and accuracy through system changes and new implementations
• Leads development and implementation of new or enhanced data-driven processes that improve operational performance, quality outcomes, and efficiency
• Maintains deep expertise in source systems, workflows, data models, and reporting structures across assigned clinical and operational areas
• Participates in and influences committees, workgroups, and initiatives related to data, analytics, and operational performance
Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, business, technology, science or healthcare field required
• Master's degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, business, technology, science or healthcare field preferred
• 7 years of progressive experience in data operations, analytics, business intelligence or related roles, preferably in complex healthcare or operational environments, required
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses and/or data lakes preferred
• Master's degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other business or technology field may substitute for two (2) years of required experience
