Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Statistical Scientist for our Data Sciences Practice based in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on data collection, management, visualization, and inferential analysis for diverse projects.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, and predictive modeling projects.
  • Apply risk analysis to problems in engineering, health, finance, ecology, and the environment.
  • Support internal and external clients in planning data collection: framing problems, experimental design, sample size calculations, and sampling strategies.
  • Develop reports and visualizations to address clients’ scientific and engineering problems and support litigation.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain statistical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience in statistical data mining, reliability and life data analysis, experimental design, Bayesian statistics, machine learning, or quality control/improvement.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with statistical software packages such as SAS and R.
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Programming skills (C++, SQL, Visual Basic, Python) and dashboard or software development experience are strongly preferred.
  • Currently legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required.

Compensation & Benefits
