NAVA Software is looking for an Oracle ODI Developer
Details:
Oracle ODI Developer (Oracle Fusion / Data Integration)
Location: Dallas TX - Hybrid
Duration: 12 months
Role Summary
Build and maintain the data integration layer supporting the phase-two Supplier Portal rollout and EDI re-architecture. Develop ODI mappings, packages, and load plans that move supplier and transactional data between EDI/B2B gateways, staging, and Oracle Fusion SCM, and support data conversion for supplier onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain ODI mappings, packages, and load plans for supplier and SCM data flows across staging, EDI/B2B gateway, and Fusion layers.
  • Build FBDI and spreadsheet loader interfaces for supplier data conversion and Supplier Portal onboarding waves.
  • Develop transformation logic to convert inbound EDI transactions (X12/EDIFACT) into Fusion-ready staging formats, and outbound Fusion data into partner-facing EDI formats.
  • Tune ETL jobs for performance and reliability; implement error-handling, logging, and reconciliation routines for observability.
  • Troubleshoot data load and integration failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive fixes through SIT/UAT and hypercare.
  • Partner with functional analysts and the solution architect on data mapping specifications, conversion validation, and technical design documentation.

Required Skills
  • 5-7+ years hands-on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development, including knowledge modules, mappings, packages, and load plans.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM data conversion (FBDI, spreadsheet loaders) and supplier/procurement data structures.
  • Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills for data profiling, transformation logic, and performance tuning.
  • Working knowledge of EDI standards (X12/EDIFACT) and B2B integration flows.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot ETL/data load errors and build reusable data validation routines.
  • Solid documentation skills - data mapping specs, technical design docs, and unit test evidence.

Nice to Have
Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Informatica B2B Gateway, or MuleSoft.
Oracle Fusion Procurement / Supplier Portal domain knowledge.
Oracle Data Integrator or Oracle Cloud certifications; retail/distribution, high-volume supplier onboarding experience.
