As a Data Center Rack and Stack Technician, you will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. Responsibilities

As a Data Center Rack and Stack Technician, you are responsible for installing, assembling, and deploying server cabinets, network equipment, and associated infrastructure within hyperscale data centers. This position supports new construction, expansion projects, and hardware refresh initiatives while ensuring all installations meet customer quality standards.

In addition, you will:

  • Install server racks, cabinets, and enclosures
  • Mount servers, switches, routers, storage devices, and PDUs
  • Install cable management systems and rack accessories
  • Route and dress copper and fiber patch cables
  • Label equipment and network connections according to customer standards
  • Perform equipment inventory and asset tracking
  • Replace and upgrade server hardware as required
  • Follow rack elevation drawings and installation documentation
  • Assist with equipment commissioning and turnover
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Adhere to all customer safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

About You:

  • You have 2-5 years of data center installation experience
  • Experience installing server cabinets and network equipment
  • Ability to interpret rack elevations and installation drawings
  • Familiarity with structured cabling practices
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with Dell, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE, or Supermicro equipment
  • You have an OSHA 10 Certification
  • Experience in hyperscale environments
  • You have experience with Rack and Stack
  • You are an experienced Server Installer
  • You have experience with Network equipment installation, cable and asset management
  • You have experience with Documentation and Quality Assurance
