Job description

Functions:

Keeps assigned machines filled with raw materials such as stacks of boxes, bags, labels and tape to keep

machines running without interruption.

Responds to all assigned machine stoppages to troubleshoot and then clear the line to get the machine back

into production with minimal downtime.

Performs assigned material handling tasks including: box handling, empty/full pallet handling, scrap bin and

Gaylord handling as required.

As assigned, will assist in monitoring and running the injection molding systems and notify the supervisor if

issues arise outside the authority of position.

Reviews production documents (quantity, weight and product identification) and compares to actual production

to ensure completeness of orders per company procedures for national and international shipments.

Properly label skids and move finished goods away from systems and onto trucks for shipment.

Gather data and identify root causes for critical instances arising on assigned tasks.

Responsible for completing system logs per company procedures for assigned tasks that require logging.

Performs assigned 5S tasks including cleaning and inspection of the equipment and facility.

Follows all manufacturing policies and procedures when performing duties.

Adheres to all safety rules, procedures, and uses required safety equipment for assigned tasks.

Immediately notifies supervisor for any issues that arise that cannot be overcome on a timely basis; or, ones

that are not authorized to perform with all the facts.

As assigned, performs authorized equipment changeovers. Ensures all settings are logged in.
