Job description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

As a Material Handler II, you will support regulated manufacturing and material handling activities for medical devices. This role is responsible for executing controlled poststerilization handling, labeling, final packaging, shipping preparation, and documentation activities in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and quality system requirements. Ensures product integrity, lot traceability, and compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 requirements through accurate execution of packaging, labeling verification, temperature indicator application, reconciliation, and material handling tasks.

What You Will Do

  • Perform receiving verification of incoming materials by confirming item accuracy, quantities, supplier information, and approved purchase order status.

  • Inspect received materials for visible damage, document findings, and escalate discrepancies according to approved procedures.

  • Apply, manage, and remove material status labels while maintaining accurate receiving records within electronic quality systems.

  • Handle, stage, move, and store raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while maintaining material identification, traceability, and segregation requirements.

  • Execute post-sterilization handling activities by verifying lot numbers, quantities, and pallet configurations against batch records.

  • Complete final packaging operations, including tray sealing, carton assembly, instruction-for-use insertion, weight verification, indicator application, and pallet preparation.

  • Prepare products for shipment through palletizing, labeling, wrapping, and temperature-sensitive packaging processes in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity while complying with Quality System requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and approved work instructions.
